I began taking pictures purely for the joy of it and also to document my travels in South America. I have since been commissioned to photograph a number of weddings and to take 'quirky' family portraits. More recently, photography became a way to highlight social and environmental concerns which have been at the heart of my professional interests. I am currently based in Glasgow, and assist charity and third sector organisations to communicate their messages visually. I have worked with The United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) in Geneva, The West of Scotland Regional Equality Council (WSREC) and Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust in Lanarkshire to both raise their profiles and document a number of their community based projects.
